For more than six decades, we have been welcoming guests to Lavrica for great food, good conversations and memorable gatherings.
Our story began in 1959 with Malči and Franc Strah. Today, the third generation carries on the family tradition, celebrating local flavours and genuine hospitality.

From our early dance evenings to today’s family lunches and celebrations, Gostilna Strah has offered a warm welcome in Lavrica since 1959.
1959 — TODAY
The restaurant was founded by Malči and Franc Strah. Two further generations continued their passion for hospitality, where tradition meets new ideas and shared experiences.

The story of Gostilna Strah begins. Even then, the inn was a gathering place for friends, good times and weekend dances.

The second generation expanded the dining spaces and grew the offering for weddings, private parties and special occasions.

The third generation renovated the restaurant and continued the family journey. Today we serve daily lunches, à la carte dishes and celebrations for up to 150 guests.
